It's a great way to connect with fellow diners and share stories over a glass of carefully selected wine.
The menu at Pangaea will tantalize your taste buds with its fresh, homemade offerings. Start your culinary journey with their Dolmades, grape leaves stuffed with a savory mix of rice and Greek spices, or dive into the creamy delight of their Tzatziki, made fresh in-house with premium yogurt, grated cucumber, and garlic. Another must-try is the Hummus, a creamy dip of garbanzo beans blended with tahini and citrus that beautifully complements the house-made pita.
Main dishes often shine with exemplary freshness and quality. Customers rave about the Chicken Kabob plate, where tender meat meets a delicious blend of Mediterranean spices. The option to mix in gyro meat is a testament to the restaurant’s flexibility in catering to customer cravings, just as one guest, Haydee Hernandez, delightedly discovered. The phrase “to die for” was used to describe the freshly baked pita bread, which is included with many dishes — a true highlight of the meal.
Don't miss out on the robust flavors of their traditional gyros or the incredibly flavorful meatballs that have received numerous accolades from diners like Sreejith Mohan. Pair these with a vibrant Village Salad or the creamy Alfredo Pesto Pasta for an unforgettable combination that speaks to the heart of Mediterranean culinary heritage.

Patrons continually praise the attentive and knowledgeable staff, with many noting that the owners often engage with guests, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. “ I was looking for GreekMediterranean food and so glad I came across this restaurant. It did not disappoint. I was welcomed and greeted upon arrival and seated right away. The server was nice and attentive. She checked on me often and resolved an issue I had with my chicken kabob. I ordered the chicken kabob plate and I was also craving the gyro meat so she allowed me to do half and half. The food was so good and fresh. The pita bread was to die for. The best I ever had. I was glad they served my iced tea in a glass and not a plastic cup. The restaurant is very small with some clutter areas but it works. Decorated nicely. The server and the cook seemed to be the owners not sure. They were both very nice. I will definitely return. ”
“ Fantastic food, excellent wine, and terrific service. The chicken was incredibly tender and tasty, the salad was wonderful, the rice was beyond any rice I ever had. I never knew that plain, white rice could be this great! The waitress was super attentive and friendly, suggesting a wonderful Italian muscato with the food. The chef and owner, was quite nice and welcoming, as were the other waiting staff. Prices are beyond great, around 1415 for lunch and 17 for dinner depending on the dish of course. My husband had a giant gyro. He loved it and said we have now found our new place! He is usually very picky with his food. We will definitely go back for more! ”
“ The ambiance is very pleasant, inviting, family oriented, great for big parties, they offer catering for larger gatherings. When you walk in the front door you can see a lot of business owners promoting themselves which is refreshing to see because it means that they are trying to promote a tightknit community where you support one another. The first room that she walk into as youre passing into the dining room is a wine tasting bar. Throughout your dining experience you may see different couples of people coming in to try the wines. I took notice that these customers really enjoyed the conversations they had with the owners and family employees, and so they would sit in the dining area in order food afterwards which is not something you see very often. My husband and I always meet very nice people with interesting stories to tell while were sitting about 6 ft away at our dining tables. Our server, Kimberly is attentive, inviting, warm, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. Here you will find traditional dishes, tasty food, fresh seasonal quality ingredients while supporting a Family owned business. They have amazing customer service. The wine tasting area is doing well although its Covid. We ordered two Appetizers Mushrooms Margherita bread with Marinara sauce My first time here with my husband Kimberly had recommended we try the mushrooms on the appetizer menu. The mushrooms are so delicious and it keeps them coming back. They are cooked in a light olive oil, rosemary, minced garlic, carmelized onion, chives, possibly parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. And on our second visit here we just had to order it! Mushrooms are tender with a bite, just the way I like it. My husband and I ordered their Margherita bread when we had inquired if they had something similar to Bruschetta. The Margherita bread was reminscent of Bruschetta and Margherita flat bread pizza. On a bed of french bread, warm fresh slice tomato, minced basil, melted Morzarella cheese top there was crumbles of fresh parmesan, with a drizzle of olive oil. On the side it was served with a saucer of Marinara sauce that was made fresh by the chef. This something I definitely would like to order again. Our main dishes we ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs Alfredo Pesto pasta My husband ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs dish. The meatballs down to the sauce were packed full of amazing flavor. The owner was the only chef working that day. My husband said this is unlike any spaghetti has had before and its one of the best spaghetti dishes hes had within two years. The meat was very tender, sweetened tomato sauce, rich in color. The Marinara sauce had fresh diced tomatoes, tomatoes sauce, fennel seeds and other ingredients I couldnt put my finger on. The spaghetti sauce is also served with the margherita bread as a dipping sauce. My Alfredo Pesto pasta dish was very refreshing. I can honestly say I havent had anything like it but I love Alfredo pasta and I love pesto sauce so I thought why not have these two worlds combine. The noodles were soft, al dente. When I expressed my concern for such a strong taste of pesto in the dish Kimberly had asked the chef to add a bit less than regular. She directly explained to me how the Alfredo Pesto Pasta has heavy whipping cream in the creamy cheese sauce that will cancel out any bitter taste from the sweet basil or regular basil. She did notify me that the basil is seasonal ingredients so depending on what time of year it is they will have sweet basil or regular basil. They do not use any cheese powders. Only fresh cheese. The reheated leftovers from Pangea Restaurant still taste delicious! Pangea is a Greek and Italian family owned business. They treat veterans very well. Their infectious charm and great quality ingredients, madetoorder food keeps you coming back. They serve a large diverse crowd of customers, its liked by many. I cant wait to go back and dine here. My husband and I are definitely loyal customers. ”
“ I recently dined at Pangaea Restaurant and Wine Bar located at Jefferson Ave., Temecula, CA, for the second time because I loved the first visit so much. During my first visit, I ordered the gyro and grilled chicken. While the grilled chicken was a bit on the harder side, the gyro, which was shaved into flat pieces, was absolutely fantastic. This time, I tried the Village Salad with homemade meatballs and gyro, making it a delightful halfandhalf combination. I have traveled extensively and tasted a wide variety of foods, especially from Greek, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisines. However, believe it or not, these meatballs were unbelievable. Every bite tasted like authentic homemade meatballs, and the gyro was equally exceptional. I highly recommend this place. The meal, including the salad, gyro, and meatballs, was around 23, which I find reasonable for such a highquality dish. The salad itself was perfect, with their house dressing that tied everything together beautifully. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend everyone to visit this location. ”
“ I live in San Diego so we stopped on a road trip. The food was really good! Gyro sandwich was great and the falafel was nice and crispy! Fries...eh. Salad was amazing! Staff was friendly, not super attentive but thats ok. I would go back. ”
“ I could go on and on about so many wonderful dishes. The entire staff are beyond fantastic! Elegant and exotic foods from the Mediterranean. And one of the most healthy ways to eat. ”
“ A very holeinthewall place with a cozy setting! Service was very quick and attentive. The hostess was kind and knowledgeable! The lunch and dinner menu are similar, Im guessing the only difference being the portion sizes. The salads feature perfectly fresh and crispy produce and the falafel is the best Ive had in a very long time! This is a great place to stop by for some home made Greek or Italian food! ”
“ I completely fell INLOVE with this beautiful little spot Chris, our serve was absolutely amazing as well as soooo kind, especially patient and knowledgeable to help navigate 2 newbies with wine and food choice Everything tasted exquisite, and the atmosphere was amazing. I believe it was the owner who even came out and spoke with us to see how everything was, including service, which I appreciated... overall, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! ”
